Picture Jasper is known as a stone of vision and is therefore a great stone to meditate with on the Third Eye Chakra as a way of opening yourself to insight, knowledge, and meaning.
Ranging from light sandy browns to deep earthy hues. Beautiful markings that remind one of the desert landscapes it is named for. Also known as Kalahari Stone. From Namibia.
Picture Jasper contains generic properties of Jasper in addition to: said to be Earth Mother speaking to her children. Contains a message from the past with its pictures for those who can read it.
Brings to surface hidden feelings of guilt, envy, hatred & love – thoughts that are normally pushed aside. Once the repression is released, they are seen as lessons along the way. Instils a sense of proportion & harmony. Brings comfort & alleviates fear.
